Westcoast Hardscape's Fremont Backyard Paver and Turf Westcoast Hardscape recently completed a beautiful, functional blend. Based in the East Bay and serving the surrounding communities, our team was challenged to transform this backyard into a modern outdoor oasis. The began with the removal of existing grass and existing site imperfections so that we could build our paver design on a stable base; we utilized high-quality interlocking pavers in a gorgeous and natural warm stone finish for walkways and outdoor entertaining spaces. Not only have the pavers greatly improved the appearance of the space, but they will also endure the typical changing and element effects found in backyards without losing their beauty. To continue with the high-end look of this beautiful backyard and add green space, we also installed lush artificial turf. We chose turf for durability and a "real" appearance with very little maintenance, allowing our client to enjoy a lovely space with yard-like characteristics, but without the effort. This renovation was not without challenge, however. Like many s, we needed to consider and remediate drainage and uneven ground. Our team installed a properly detailed drainage system, leveled the surface, and ultimately sealed the with the drainage allowance to enable existing rain water to move away from the house, in an effort to prevent unwanted water build-up. The resulting is a beautiful backyard that is perfect for relaxation or entertaining. The combination of beautiful pavers with green turf transforms the overall space into a welcoming area for family and friend gatherings or a quiet evening.
