Brisbane Residence (2) As seen in: Home & Garden Construction Group Our newest , located in Brisbane (a neighborhood we absolutely adore), the Brisbane Residence (2) was beautifully and creatively directed by Home & Garden Construction Group. A complete landscaping refurbishment, this outdoor space harmoniously integrates work and play, resulting in an outdoor haven that aligns with the clients brief. The involved an entire backyard redesign, starting off as one of the trickiest parts to tackle as the backyard floor was not leveled and certain areas of the yard were shaded by the house. We were able to work around these limitations with tiered, cedar wood garden beds, sourced sustainably but also attractive and giving a sense to the space. Complete with a range of native plants both hardy and low-maintenance to ensure seasonal interest and ecological health. Visitors are greeted by a beautiful stone path (flagstone taken from a local quarry, for durability and a rustic feel), winding through lush landscaping. We also added a custom fire pit with chairs for family time in evenings. Resilient weather-proof materials prolong the lifespan of the structures while accent lights creatively installed throughout the garden enhance the features and provide a warm ambience after dusk. The end result was an absolute stunner that our clients absolutely loved, turning an underused area of their outdoor space into a personal retreat space for entertaining and relaxation. It was the perfection and the meticulousness that we put into the that transformed the from being to just a landscape to a lifetime experience.
