Recently, we successfully completed a Custom Half Basketball Court that demonstrates our commitment to great work and craftsmanship, which was located in the beautiful East Bay region, serving neighborhoods between Alameda and San Jose, a demonstration of the quality work in all our landscaping endeavors. The court was designed based on the visions the client wanted so it would seamlessly fit in with the existing existing landscapes. The surface was made of high-grade asphalt, allowing for durability and performance to ensure it would be able to handle the daily wear and tear of play. The natural landscape surrounding the court included a variety of native plantings with decorative stone borders to help give it visual structure while being biodiverse. One of the biggest challenges we faced, as always, was the unevenness of the site. To ensure an even court, our team leveled the ground as best we could for a stable foundation under the court while providing adequate drainage to remove water to avoid pooling and excess wear on the surface. In the end, we produced this beautiful half basketball court with professional-grade markings and innovative hoop system framed with lush greenery. The client was ecstatic with the outcome and said that it had become a hub for family gatherings and neighborhood events.
