Westcoast Hardscape - Hillsborough The Hillsborough by Westcoast Hardscape exemplifies our achieving and commitment to quality in landscape design and installation. Situated in the beautiful hills of the Bay Area, this was a delicate balance of aesthetics and environmental sustainability. We transformed a large yard into a relaxing outdoor space. We implemented a wide range of native plants, supporting the local ecosystem, while providing year-round color and texture. Every element was intentionally selected to create a cohesive design, using high quality materials, like natural stone pathways, reclaimed wood elements, and composite decking products. The challenge this presented was a sloped lot. This required innovative design solutions to address drainage and possible erosion. Our team worked together to design a tiered garden to manage water movement and create visual variety in their greenery. We even created a custom water feature nor only to manage water, but introduce an audio quality to the outdoor space. This ultimately transformed our clients backyard into an oasis, allowing them to utilize this outdoor space in every season. In addition to beautiful flower beds, backyard lawn, and sitting areas (or gathering spots), this demonstrates the quality craftsmanship and attention to detail that Westcoast Hardscape provides for durable, aesthetic and functional outdoor landscapes.
