Summary: TPC Parkway This , completed by Boerjan's Landscaping & Design, is an exceptionally beautiful representation of our commitment to quality and creative landscaping. Located in the heart of San Antonio, this spans a large outdoor area, thoughtfully designed to embrace the natural beauty of the setting, while also providing a functional and welcoming outdoor space. The TPC Parkway presented a unique opportunity, as we worked to combine a harmonious mix of lush plantings with hardscaping. The incorporates a well-thought-out selection of drought-tolerant plants that were locally grown and are native to Texas, ensuring sustainability and low upkeep. To provide features that contrast beautifully with the lush vegetation around it, natural stone walkways and seating were selected to fit seamlessly into the landscape, sourced from local materials. A main challenge of the was the existing topography of the site, which left our design team having to develop grading and drainage solutions to the uneven surfaces. We took this opportunity and creatively designed a tiered garden that served the purpose of dealing with drainage and slope while also providing depth and height in the planting beds. Water features such as a pond with a cascading waterfall were also designed into the to create serenity and invite local birds and wildlife. TPC Parkway exceeded the expectation of the commissioning client into a beautiful and relaxing outdoor space. Enjoyment by neighbors, visitors, and clients invited through the space have caused excitement through the vibrant colors, sounds of moving water, and beautiful plantings.
