Design - Build Landscape The Shores Neils Lunceford, Inc. is pleased to introduce the 'Design - Build Landscape The Shores'; a thoughtful transformation nestled in the beautiful mountains of Summit County. This was a detailed process where we created an outdoor sanctuary for our very particular clients, marrying art and function. The landscape design utilizes beautiful native plants with respect to the natural landscape, creating an area of sustainability and support for local biology. Pathways and a retention wall use locally sourced stone that adds visual value and blends with the rugged setting. We also created inviting water features, bringing soothing sound and attracting local wildlife. The most significant challenge was the sloping topography of the site. The team engineered tiered gardens, allowing for proper drainage and stability while maximizing usable space. This enabled us to program multiple outdoor living areas including a cozy fire pit, surrounded by custom seating for family gatherings or an evening escape. The end result is a beautiful landscape that exceeded the client’s expectations: a balance of beauty and function. The design transformed the property into an oasis, usable year-round, and a showcase of the terrific craftsmanship and dedication of Neils Lunceford, Inc. The process and final product demonstrate our commitment to quality and ensuring the satisfaction of the client experience and the lasting impression of The Shores and its residents.
