We selectively stripped the aging materials, from cracked tiles to failed decking to leave a blank slate for innovation. The natural stone pavers and textured porcelain tiles that we chose are not only visually appealing but will also hold up against the wear and tear of the Miami climate for years to come. A fresh fifth colour splash was added through the re-tile of the original pool with colourful mosaics suited to the tropical surrounds. We had plenty of lush landscape to work with but the biggest challenge was finding places for the hardscape to integrate so you don't have any pockets of water trapped." With our knowledgeable team, we crafted a complex drainage system and distributed appropriate native vegetation so that the ideal biodiversity-complementing land use was achieved. Palm trees, colorful shrubs and ornamental grasses added a tropical atmosphere of relaxation for clients and guests. What came out of this was simply beautiful. An expansive custom-designed outdoor kitchen and dining area patio balances out the courtyard that is now restored and ready for entertaining guests. Now the pool area, framed in dense landscaping, provides a calm retreat, an opportunity to refresh on sunny days in style.
