The original bathroom featured an outdated tub that posed safety risks and offered little functionality. Our approach centered on converting the existing tub and shower space into a spacious, state-of-the-art shower that would facilitate ease of use and promote independence in personal care. We designed a luxurious walk-in shower that embodies both style and practicality, aptly referred to as a "carwash" due to its comprehensive features. The layout allows for an expansive area, complete with a built-in bench that provides a safe resting space. This thoughtful design ensures that our client’s husband can comfortably maneuver while bathing, minimizing the risk of slips and falls. We incorporated a thermostatic shower system that includes a main shower head, four strategically placed jets, and a removable shower wand, allowing for a customizable showering experience. With the ability to use each feature independently or in combination, this setup maximizes comfort while promoting a therapeutic washing experience. Craftsmanship was a cornerstone of this project, with meticulous attention to detail in the selection of materials and finishes. High-quality tiles were chosen for their durability and aesthetic appeal, enhancing the overall ambiance of the space. The plumbing fixtures were selected not only for their functionality but also for their modern design, seamlessly fitting into the new shower layout.
