The Davis Project represents a stunning transformation of an 80-year-old bathroom in Orlando, Florida, originally constructed in 1940. This space, with its historical charm, had remained untouched aside from a few updates like a toilet and vanity. Our goal was to honor the character of the past while integrating modern aesthetics and functionality. The project scope involved a complete remodel, addressing not only the visual appeal but also the practical requirements of today’s living standards. In planning the design, we focused on a cohesive blend of vintage and contemporary elements. The decision to maintain the original layout while introducing modern fixtures allowed us to maximize space without compromising the historic integrity of the home. We selected high-quality materials that reflect the era's craftsmanship yet offer durability and ease of maintenance. The shower features intricate tile work that pays homage to the classic designs of the past, while the new vanity boasts sleek lines and updated hardware, providing a fresh contrast.
