Ambient Lighting by PETER ATKINS AND ASSOCIATES, LLC Recently, PETER ATKINS AND ASSOCIATES, LLC completed an ambient lighting called ‘Outdoor Lights’ in the peaceful neighborhoods of Armonk and Bedford Hills. This lighting contributed to the existing landscaping and provided the client an aesthetically pleasing ambience for their property, with the added bonus of safety. PETER ATKINS AND ASSOCIATES, LLC chose high-quality, energy-efficient LED fixtures which had a nice mix of functionality and elegance. Highlights of the included path lights strategically placed along meandering walkways and soft uplighting on mature trees that offered the client a magical ambience while highlighting the natural beauty of the existing landscape. A key consideration for the was the elevation differences on the property. The team of landscapers successfully navigated installing proper fixtures on the property while avoiding disruption to the existing landscaped features. Furthermore, care was taken to locate the lights in a way that minimized light pollution, allowing the architecture of the home and night sky to sparkle. The finish of this was spectacular. When dusk arrives, the property takes on a stunning charm, with warm glows that highlight gardens and sitting areas.
