Travertine Install by Westcoast Hardscape Westcoast Hardscape recently completed an impressive travertine installation and transformation of an outdoor space into an outdoor retreat. Our service location is the East Bay Coastal area with vibrant communities like Alameda, Berkeley, and Walnut Creek. We were tasked with creating a sophisticated patio and pathway that would blend seamlessly with the existing landscape. Authentic, high-quality, and natural travertine stones are incredibly durable and have a classic appearance. We designed a layout that would increase the aesthetics, while providing space to gather outdoors. There were a couple of beautiful material patterns that accented the textures and warm earth tones of travertine and created a tranquil environment for entertaining or relaxing. We had a few challenges during this . Our team of craftsmen decked out the patio on uneven ground, with drainage issues, and ensured a proper install that would withstand rain and time. Together, we developed a full grading plan and used the best practice install techniques to effectively manage water runoff to avoid erosion and damage in the long term. The result was simply stunning. The travertine patio installed, encompassed with native plants, created a cozy space that fit perfectly in the environmental context. Our client was thrilled with the quality of our work and attention to detail that Westcoast Hardscape can offer. The tremendously contributed to the value of the property and turned it into an oasis of a hometo be proud of.
