Gazebo We Build by PETER ATKINS AND ASSOCIATES, LLC Located in a beautiful neighborhood of Armonk, New York, the 'Gazebo We Build' exemplifies the imagination and care at PETER ATKINS AND ASSOCIATES, LLC. Our creativity and craftsmanship transformed a small backyard into a beautiful haven, combining functionality and visual delight. At the center of the can be seen the wonderful gazebo that was built of cedar wood, which is known for its natural durability and deep warm colors. The design includes beautiful lattice work and a multipitched shingled roof, producing a standout feature that will evoke thoughts of relaxation or gatherings. Surrounding the gazebo is an intentional landscape plant scheme of native plants and seasonal flowers, which will give color throughout the year while supporting local ecosystems. One of the challenges we faced at the job was the sloping nature of the ground. Our knowledgeable team constructed a tiered layout using natural stone retaining walls that from a structural standpoint were effective and permitted the yard to flow naturally. This allowed an area with a fire pit for cozy nights gathered around a fire while providing access to the gazebo. We finished the yard with a custom stone walks and pathways that meandered through the green plants to the gazebo and other areas. We also added a thoughtful amount of ambiance lighting to highlight the architecture and planters in the evening hours. The final product ecstatic the client; they couldn't be more pleased.
