Information: Plant Pairings: Inspiration Sophie Bignet Landscape Design is thrilled to share our 'Plant Pairings: Inspiration' , a lively transformation that combines complementary plant selections. Located in Boston, this showcases our commitment to cohesive designed outdoor spaces that capture our clients' personalities. In this , we took great care in selecting plant pairings that not only worked well in the local climate, but also improved the aesthetic of the site. With Sophie's expertise in horticulture, we included native species, such as the resilience of the Eastern Redbud and the beauty of the Black-eyed Susan, for their seasonal interest and compatibility. We also employed quality materials; we used locally sourced stone for pathways and decorative edging; a look that was cohesive, blended into the natural environment, and would last. We employed a custom irrigation system to manage water for sustainability and plant health, this resolved many of the challenges with water management for the site. One significant challenge we faced was that the property had an uneven slope. Our team was able to elegantly design tiered garden beds that would provide visual interest, but also drainage for erosion whilst keeping plants healthy. We believe the final outcome is a lovely landscape that the client is thrilled to have as a wildlife oasis. The plant combinations and spaces we carefully designed are very lovely and provide a welcoming feeling for family gatherings and relaxation. 'Plant Pairings: Inspiration' is a celebration of our team of quality work, creativity, and stewardship to our environment to leave a lasting impression in communities we serve, including Allston, Arlington, and beyond.
