Lakeside Living Design by Wolfstone Landscape Design Located in the beautiful setting of Lake Oswego the 'Lakeside Living' by Wolfstone Landscape Design is a stunning example of modern living colliding with nature, all while appealing to a wide variety of clientele from the local neighborhoods of Aloha and Beaverton and beyond. This was our way of providing quality craftsmanship and health and beauty. The goal for this large property was to create a lakeside getaway that would integrate with the natural setting while providing usable, beautiful spaces for outdoor enjoyment. The layout benefited from our design team's endless hours of work, developing what would become the multi-tiered flagstone patio, a locally sourced surface that transitioned beautifully to greenscape throughout the gardens. The plant palette included reasons for selecting native plants such as the sword fern, grape and other low-maintenance plants that could hold up in this climate while still producing beauty. Our team installed an irrigation system using drip technology so the homeowners could water efficiently while keeping the plant palette healthy and beautiful. The custom stone fire pit with seating was developed as a focal point for gatherings at night while staring into the stars with job lights behind. There were complications of the pool and spa that helped define the space, coupled with the sloped nature of the property. Our team addressed this with a ruined boulder retaining wall that not only helped keeper the design from eroding but provided an outdoor rustic warmth throughout the design. A water feature located between the spa and rock wall enhanced the tranquil nature of the space in keeping with the goal of relaxing by the lake, and the sounds were pleasing and inviting to just sit and relax. The end result of our labor was an outdoor oasis that is both pleasing to the homeowners and guests. Some outdoor areas are for family gathering, some for peace at the lake, this space embodies outdoor living and happiness.
