In this landscaping , we find a perfect blend of aesthetics with an environmentally friendly solution and a commitment to workmanship. The Turf Roof comprised a carefully installed synthetic grass surface that was not only a beautiful enhancement to the property, but an environmentally friendly response to the challenge of landscaping in the city. We used high-quality UV stabilized grass material to ensure that the surface would maintain its bright, durable appearance for many years, regardless of Chicago’s prevalent weather conditions. The significant challenge we encountered was the very steep roof pitch and ensuring proper drainage with the synthetic grass surface. Our team was able to resolve this challenge by inserting a specialized drainage layer underneath the turf to manage water runoff effectively while preserving the integrity of the roof itself. With this preventative measure, the property was protected and the client had a peace of mind.
