This traditional kitchen remodel showcases a stunning transformation that respects the original layout while introducing a fresh and elegant aesthetic. The homeowner sought to rejuvenate their space without altering the fundamental structure, making cabinet refacing an ideal choice. The project began by removing the cabinet above the stove, allowing for the continuation of beautiful tile work up to the soffit, which enhances the kitchen's height and visual appeal. A new range hood was then installed, adding a modern touch to the traditional design. The existing cabinets were expertly refaced using real Cherry wood veneer, providing a rich and warm appearance. To elevate the craftsmanship, cherry crown molding was added, seamlessly tying together the cabinetry and enhancing the overall sophistication of the space. The cabinet doors were replaced with raised panel Cherry doors finished in a Nutmeg stain, which not only complements the kitchen's traditional style but also introduces a depth of color and texture that is both inviting and timeless. To maximize functionality, rollouts were installed in two of the base cabinets, providing easy access to pots, pans, and kitchen essentials, thereby improving overall organization. The addition of under-cabinet lighting not only illuminates the workspace but also highlights the beautiful finishes and details throughout the kitchen. The remodel concluded with the installation of luxurious Quartz countertops in Toasted Almond, replacing the previously outdated laminate. The new countertops offer durability and a stunning visual contrast against the cabinetry. Finally, the existing wall splash was removed and replaced with Zen Ease Mosaic, further enhancing the kitchen's character and style.
