Beecher Place Amazing Garden & Construction The latest landscaping Beecher Place, seen here in the heart of Newton is a true example of the Amazing Garden & Construction art & craft. We regenerated a small outdoor area into a green oasis that beautifully integrates within the larger neighborhood and enhances the curbside appeal of the home. A beautiful range of native perennials and hardy shrubs, designed to grow in the Sonoma climate and provide year-round interest. We installed a very sophisticated irrigation system allowing us to run the water on just what was needed, but still with high care of all the various plants existing. The choice of natural stone walkway not only enhances the aesthetic value but provides markings to move along the landscape. A major challenge we faced was the grade issues where we had to do a lot of grading and soil stabilization. We have a talented team who quickly found a solution by adding raised garden beds that both leveled the area and opened up areas to grow vegetables and flowers. We also put in a homemade wooden trellis that is designed for vines to climb, which helps bring verticality to the ecosystem and increase privacy. The Beecher Place looked stunning as its final result. The combination of natural elements, functional hardscapes and design features created the peaceful oasis that our clients had hoped for. They were so happy with the result and how the new landscape flowed into their lifestyle and use of the yard.
