About This Project

Our Gallery MP Landscape Design is excited to present "Our Gallery," a beautiful landscaping representing our dedication to quality and innovation. Situated in the heart of Mount Pleasant, the began with a large outdoor space and evolved into a peaceful refuge that enhances and respects the existing landscape. The main challenge was balancing a desire for diverse elements while remaining true to the intent for sustainability. We began with a site analysis of the existing plants and topography, and with this knowledge, we developed a design using plants that are native to the area, taking into account the aesthetics and the needs of local wildlife. To emphasize the plantings, we integrated hardscape features using high quality materials such as natural stone pathways, and durable-but-inviting pavers. The centerpiece of the area is a custom-built fire pit, which provides a comfortable, inviting gathering area. Additionally, we designed a calming water feature to coordinate the plants and hardscape into the surround environment. To address the drainage challenges of the site, MP Landscape Design developed an efficient plan for grading the site, utilized rain gardens, and adequately managed water runoff while enhancing the beauty of the landscape. The also specified outdoor lighting to highlight key features of the area and provide enjoyment in the evening. The combined result is a landscape that not only satisfies the needs of the client but also creates value for the property. Our Gallery testifies to MP Landscape Designs quality of craftsmanship and quality of service, as expressed by the delighted client, "We love our new space. It is the perfect place to relax, entertain, and reflect our lifestyle." This demonstrates our design skills in addressing challenges and incorporating ideas unique to the Awendaw, Charleston, Daniel Island, Isle of Palms, John's Island, Mount Pleasant, North Charleston, and Sullivan's Island locales.
