About This Project

Parkers Landing MP Landscape Design is thrilled to share the amazing landscaping , ‘Parkers Landing’, an outdoor oasis designed to elegantly harmonize nature and architecture. Located in the center of Mount Pleasant, this was designed to embrace nature in a way that would be visually stimulating, providing tranquility for the homeowner. Several key elements were implemented by our team, including a custom-built stone retaining wall composed of native granite, contributing structural stability, as well as creating an eye-catching focal point. We hand-selected native and drought-tolerant plants for a colorful landscape that is lush and vibrant year-round, with sustainability and low-maintenance at its foundation. A gentle meandering pathway made of permeable pavers stretches through the space, allowing for adequate water drainage while welcoming guests and visitors alike. The site has a natural slope, so one of the challenges we confronted was designing elements to mitigate erosion on the descending grade. Our talented team designed tiered garden beds, both to address erosion concerns while introducing verticality and visual interest. We also included a water feature for a peaceful and calming element that melds with the surroundings and attracts wildlife, while providing ambient sounds for relaxation. The finishes are breathtaking, and the results exceeded the client's expectations. Parkers Landing features colorful flower beds and delightful seating areas to entertain guests, while the overall design reflects the values of MP Landscape Design of quality workmanship, while enhancing the life of the homeowner and making it a refuge for years to come.
