Nestled in the picturesque setting of Pensacola Beach, this exquisite guest bathroom remodel showcases the perfect blend of functionality and style. The original space, characterized by its long and narrow layout and a modest ceiling height of only 7 feet, required a complete transformation to meet the client's vision. Our team meticulously took the bathroom down to the studs, allowing for a fresh start and the opportunity to incorporate innovative design solutions. One of the standout features of this remodel is the cleverly recessed rain head, skillfully integrated into a ceiling niche. This design choice not only maximizes the vertical space but also enhances the aesthetic appeal, harmonizing beautifully with the mosaic glass tiles that adorn other niches throughout the bathroom. The client’s desire for both a tub and shower was met with creativity, as we introduced the Neptune “Wind” tub, striking a balance between elegance and practicality. To ensure a seamless look, we mounted a Kohler laminar spout directly from the wall, providing both functionality and visual appeal. An unconventional yet practical solution for the shower curtain was implemented using a vintage-style clothesline, allowing the curtain to stretch across the space when needed. This unique touch adds character while maintaining the tub as the focal point. Additionally, addressing the needs of the client’s feline companion, we designed cabinetry with a discreet cutout for the kitty litter box, ensuring easy access for cleaning while keeping the overall design cohesive. To enrich the visual texture of the room, we incorporated candle niches into the tiled back wall, inviting warmth and ambiance. The flooring, laid with 12x12 terrazzo tiles, complements the 6x12 blue glass tiles on the back wall, while the surrounding limestone walls create a serene backdrop. The countertops, crafted from blue Lagos Caesarstone, add a touch of sophistication. This remarkable bathroom remodel not only meets the demands of modern living but also delivers a striking aesthetic, proving that even small spaces can make a significant impact.
