About This Project

Summary: 'Plans' by Live Design Live Design has taken on the challenge of changing outdoor spaces as in our recent landscaping , “Plans,” which we completed for a discerning client in the beautiful landscape of Utah. Working with various communities, including Alpine, Provo, and Sandy, we took on this with the approach of balancing our client’s desire for natural beauty, outdoor living, and functionality. The consisted of the design and installation of a beautiful, multi-level patio using natural stone that complements the existing landscaping of the home. This functional outdoor living space includes a built-in fire pit or a focal point for family and friends to congregate. Beside the patio is landscaping of a variety of native plants that were specifically selected because of their sustainable practices of low maintenance and drought tolerance. The property is situated on a sloped site that was challenging to work with, which meant modifying the grading to provide usable space without compromising the integrity of the natural landscape. Our team was able to refine the grading challenges and incorporated retaining walls made of local boulders to provide support for slopes while maintaining beauty. We created a gorgeous retreat in harmony with the natural landscape to provide a calming escape for our client. The paths that we created are perfectly placed for flower beds and seating, which has added curb appeal to the property and allowed our client to engage in a more enjoyable outdoor living experience. The of the craftsmanship we provided in the build of "Plans" were all done with extreme creativity and professionalism. Our client was extremely happy with how all of their dreams were achievable, and how the outdoor space became a backdrop for beautiful memories. We love making visions a reality, while showcasing beauty and multi-functional outdoor living for years to come.
