Flagstone Path and Seating Area, Sandstone 6X6 Firepit, Custom Cedar Pergola Sunrise Landscapes is excited to share our latest complete makeover: a wonderful outdoor retreat with a custom-built flagstone path and seating area, a beautiful sandstone 6x6 firepit, and a custom cedar pergola. We served the Family in Bryan, College Station, Kurten, Mumford, Navasota, Wellborn, Wixon Valley, and Snook. The exhibits the high standard of materials and design to which we are committed. The focus of attention is the path made with flagstone. The stones are laid in such a way that it develops a natural flow through the garden and back to the seating area at the end of the path. Each stone was hand-picked for its own texture and color to integrate well into the surrounding material palette and landscape design. The seating area was designed to nurture conversation and comfort, with alcove benches of our design that embraced the rustic flagstone with a minimalist aesthetic. The square footage of the fire pit itself is a generous 6x6 and was made using solid sandstone surrounded by seating for producing feelings of comfort and shared experience while providing an impressive focal point as the heart of the seating area. The fire pit is built to accommodate cooking and warmth for family and friends in the great outdoors while enjoying the beautiful stars in the sky above. To complete the area, we designed a custom cedar pergola to apply weight and structure to this open seating area under dappled sunshine. The light color and untamed feel of cedar wood matched perfectly with the warmth of the natural stone creating a lovely retreat space for family and entertaining guests. The wooden shelter has an intricately designed open lattice structure to filter the sun exposure while providing some sheltered coziness. In completing the , our team faced several challenges like uneven ground and drainage to maximize the building's longevity while contributing beauty to the structure. Thankfully, our experienced team of landscapers found innovative solutions to benefit the creation of this unique patio's layout and function (proper grading with adequate drains). Overall, this became a beautiful outdoor oasis fulfilling the wants and needs of the family while exceeding the family's expectations.
