This renovation was a true labor of love to improve both the use and aesthetics for our happy clients. We first began by assessing the original pool area, which had fallen into disrepair over time. The challenge we knew was to refresh the area, but still maintain the natural beauty. We came up with the idea of using moss rock boulders, artistically staged to create a cascading waterfall for relaxation and serve as a stunning centerpiece. The festive palette of the rocks blends with the surrounding landscape to offer a rustic yet sophisticated look. We included native plants like Texas sage and ornamental grasses to complement the lush vegetation surrounding the pool. These will not only thrive in our local conditions, but enhance the ecology of the area by attracting pollinators. Custom stone pathways made out of locally quarried flagstone add a natural feel while guiding guests around the pool and creating a comfortable gathering atmosphere. The pool renovation went smoothly, with challenges such as drainage because of the slope of the area. Our capable staff installed a drainage system that will prevent future erosion by aged water from pooling near the edge of the pool. The result is a stunning luxury retreat that includes the beauty of nature across the valley and a relaxing update to the dated pool.
