Paths by Howard Jay Supnik Landscape Architect LLC Located in beautiful Lancaster County, the 'Paths' by Howard Jay Supnik Landscape Architect LLC transformed a residential property outdoor spaces for a residential property. Serving the residents of Akron, Lititz, and the surrounding areas, this exhibited the attention to detail and design quality that our firm prides itself on. The goal was to enhance the architecture and site accessibility by creating a fluid connection between the garden spaces. We designed a series of organically edged paths using durable, local flagstone and permeable pavers, allowing the beauty of the natural landscape to become integrated with the spaces. The materials not only provided an rustic appearance, but improved draining capabilities naturally. The major obstacle was the slope of the property, which required creative and thorough grading and draining practices. Our landscape architects worked directly with the client to design gently curving paths, which added to the aesthetics and functionality for any guest wandering between spaces. In addition, native plantings were placed along the paths to entice pollinators and to add seasonal blooms for visual interest. The overall effect was a gorgeous landscape that made for fun exploration, while each turn displayed another view of the colors from the foliage. At the conclusion of the , the clients were ecstatic with their new outdoor space, which went beyond their expectations.
