Palms on Main

Palms on Main Southern Vistas Inc. is prepared to introduce "Palms on Main," a new, uplifting landscaping that has transformed an existing commercial property in the center of West Columbia into a tranquil oasis. We enthusiastically embraced the endeavor for our neighboring communities of Arcadia Lakes, Cayce, Columbia, Dentsville, Forest Acres, and beyond. At the center of the design are several beautiful palm trees that are especially suitable for the climate, but also have content value. To support the palm trees in a quest for a tropical feel, ornamental grasses and flowering plants were utilized to create an attractive lush and layered impression that invites you to visually explore. To add additional hardscape interest, well sited durable hardscape features such as natural stone paths, decorated boulders, etc. were included to increase visual interest and improve pedestrian access to property and surrounding areas. One of the challenges of the site included limited space and soil. Getting the existing soil to be suitable for desirable plant material prompted some advanced soil amendment techniques. Our upgrades to the soils improved the integrity of the soil; drainage was key to creating a mixture of plant species. Also, we installed an efficient irrigation system using lowest water needs; onsite water solutions for the palm trees, considering the work was done in South Carolina with climate considerations. In the end, our client was very pleased with the ultimate goal of enhancing the property's curb appeal by creating an outdoor space for misplaced visitors to enjoy. Out of misrepresented design aspects of landscaping, we achieved a balanced relationship between low maintenance flora and patio hardscape design; this achievement allowed for consumer use but remains protected from "bad intent". In Palms on Main, Southern Vistas has played not only a major role in landscaping but has supported a positive impression within the Richmond communities, including Oak Grove, Pineridge, St. Andrews, 7 Oaks, South Congaree, Springdale, Woodfield. With Palms on Main our company has created a better landscape, but has also enriched the process of representation, and the longevity of fine-impression will adapt and prosper.
