Southern Vistas Inc. is excited to announce its completion of the outdoor areas at Christopher Towers Senior Living in Columbia, South Carolina, creating a beautiful, relaxing space for senior residents. Christopher Towers Senior Living is committed to quality and detail for the greater Columbia community, Arcadia Lakes, Cayce, Dentsville, and beyond. The landscape design includes quality native planting, vibrant seasonal flowers, and some hardy shrubbery to allow color and beauty year-round while minimizing maintenance. Quality materials were used in the installation of the patio area using permeable pavers in pathways to improve water drainage on the property while also allowing for ease of access and avoiding water pooling on pathways in challenging climate conditions. One area of concern was the existing topography of the site. The site was very sloped leaving the clients concerned wheelchair access for residents. Our team was able to seamlessly grade the landscape to create smooth transition areas among the outdoor recreation areas, including a meditation garden, community area for large gatherings, and seating areas. Raised garden beds were also implemented to allow resident gardening activities, purpose, and building community. Finally, a beautiful pergola and climbing vines were installed, providing a shaded social area for resident relaxation and interaction. The final product has satisfied the client and has provided a wonderfully landscaped experience for the residents generating wellness and interaction with nature. Southern Vistas Inc. enjoyed creating beautiful landscapes that improve an experience of living, and Christopher Towers Senior Living is no exception to our love of quality and craftsmanship.
