This new addition to our website called 'Featured s Downey, CA,' provides residents of Centereach, Coram, Farmingville, and nearby towns with a closer look at the quality of work we can provide for your landscaping. This revolved around the complete redesign of the residential garden after it had fallen into disrepair. We had to contour the land to level off areas, also the soil was not good, and additional soil was added on top and lots of topsoil was brought in to get good growth. We chose a broad palette of native plants with bright and cheery perennials and tough-as-nails shrubs to enhance sustainability and quality habitat. With this in mind, we introduced natural stone in pathways to give direction to the space, which infers movement towards a destination in this case, a stone fire pit with bespoke seating. Not only does this feature act as a gathering space for family and friends, but it also adds to their landscape value. Reclaimed wood for the seating gave the patio warmth and character that blended beautifully with the surrounding nature. The second feature is a low consumption but effective irrigation system, that not only uses less water cools the growth of the plants. Another issue that our team tackled was that of drainage, and to solve that, we have a sustainable rain garden which kept stormwater runoff in check and promotes the health of the landscape. The completed result was a stunning outdoor sanctuary that our clients are thrilled with. They also told us how happy they were with how the turned their backyard into a calm retreat space ideal for entertaining and relaxing.
