Elevate Outdoor's 'Swimming in Simplicity' Elevate Outdoor is excited to share that the completed ’Swimming in Simplicity’ was a transformational landscaping expanding outdoor living for our clients in the community of Lake Saint Louis. The objective of the was to create an aesthetically pleasing, low maintenance outdoor area that fit harmoniously in the existing natural environment while […] Our first step was to design a stylish and modern poolscape. A new inground pool surrounded by a natural stone patio was the perfect culminating component. We chose to use Bluestone, locally sourced, that was both very durable and looked fabulous! We built in some native plantings, including flowering perennials and ornamental grasses, to create a framing and layering that provides year-long interest while working toward enhancing local biodiversity. One of the considerable challenges was the slope of the backyard. We transformed the sloped area into raised landscaping tiers for functional space to lounge and recreate, while cleverly improving the drainage and reducing the possibility of flooding the pool. Our craftsmen built a custom retaining wall out of reclaimed timber which was the perfect rustic element that still looked fantastic! We provided our clients with an incredible outdoor sanctuary beyond their hopes and imagination. The lighting we installed, brought life and excitement to the newly built space, and created enjoyment for festive gatherings and leisurely nights under the stars. The quality of construction, attention to detail, and beautiful selection of plantings were all part of our commitment to quality and craftsmanship, as proven by the home owners, we were grateful to showcase our mission to enrich outdoor living. ’Swimming in Simplicity’ represents Elevate Outdoor's commitment to quality and craftsmanship while providing an unrivaled landscaping experience to the communities of Cottleville, Dardenne Prairie, and beyond.
