Farmhouse Elegance by Elevate Outdoor Elevate Outdoor has officially launched 'Farmhouse Elegance,' an impressive landscaping that reconfigures a classic property into a peaceful, welcoming escape. Located in the scenic destination of Cottleville, this demonstrates our dedication to quality and attention to detail while serving clients from Dardenne Prairie to Chesterfield, and beyond. The cornerstone of this was a large outdoor living space with a custom built natural stone patio that agreed with the farmhouse style aesthetic. To ensure the patio's durability and rustic appeal, we selected locally sourced flagstone to include in the patio's build. We also planted a diverse selection of native perennials and ornamental grasses surrounding the patio to meet our expectations of low maintenance and seasonal interest from the planting area. We faced a tricky issue during the given the slight to moderate slope that existed on the property. The slope made it necessary for us to implement some ingenious grading in order to bring the patio down to ground level. Although the grading took some time to construct, our supervisors were able to resolve any potential obstacles in the process. They even had to account for the water drainage so that, when facing heavy rainfall, the newly installed landscaping would not suffer from erosion issues over time. We also installed a fire pit area, complete with seating that would foster a family-friendly atmosphere and encourage clients to use the space in the evening. The charm of the fire pit stemmed from utilizing reclaimed brick, while the full seating area comfortably allows for family and friends to sit with ease. Ultimately the ended in our final touch of installing ambient lighting so the most beautiful elements of the landscape would be visually framed, and simultaneously create a comfortable aesthetic at night. All in all, the end product of 'Farmhouse Elegance' is truly a stunning outdoor oasis that improves the property's curb appeal significantly, with integral support for the family lifestyle of the homeowners.
