Putting Green by Elevate Outdoor Elevate Outdoor is excited to share our 'Putting Green' , a beautiful transformation that infuses a practical use with beautiful design creating a personal sanctuary for golf lovers in Cottleville and the surrounding communities. This putting green was not simply a backyard recreational element, but a well thought out landscape element that enhanced the outdoor experience. The began with specific site analysis and planning to optimize sun and drainage conditions. We choose a high-quality durable turf that performs and looks like the natural grass on a professional golf course, so you can putt year-round. By utilizing a combination of crushed granite and sand, we formed a solid, level surface after addressing the existing uneven ground surface condition. For added design it the land we created varied elevations using boulders and native plantings that help to increase area biodiversity and provide a beautiful background to the putting green. Lush ornamental grasses frame the edges of the putting green beautifully while add texture. The challenge we faced is creating a level putting surface while having turf that drains properly. We achieved this through expert grading and drainage methods which allowed water to flow off the green which helped maintain the level playing surface. The final product was a beautiful putting green that integrated with the rest of the backyard landscape and includes a flag and cup that we designed. The client was so pleased with their new feature and told us it not only improved their backyard, it has provided hours of enjoyment for family and friends.
