Quiet Village Landscaping's Modern Outdoor Entertaining Area At Quiet Village Landscaping, we work hard to create beautiful outdoor spaces for all to enjoy. Our recent , the Modern Outdoor Entertaining Area, is a perfect example of our dedication to quality and innovation for a discerning client in downtown St. Louis. This began with a vision; to create a space that could serve multiple uses while balancing elegance and function. We began with an evaluation of the existing landscape, including some challenges including uneven ground and very little shade. Our talented team used only the best materials, including a premium paver product and sustainably harvested hardwood for o ur expansive patio area, which became a focal point for future gatherings. To support the outdoor experience, we designed and built a modern outdoor kitchen with a built-in grill and countertop space for meal prep and integrated custom cabinetry to protect the functionality from nature. The designated entertaining area, above, was supported with lush low-maintenance plantings from a previously existing white birch tree and some seasonal color native perennial plantings. Further enhancements to the area included an aesthetically modern fire pit to enjoy cool evenings on blanketed mid-summer nights under the stars. With lighting, we were able to highlight some of the landscaping features while providing a warm connection to day and night by illuminating the space. One of the challenges was providing for proper drainage, which included a creative grading solution to ensure that we blended the patio area with surrounding features while preventing any damage to the patio or surrounding features. The final product is a beautiful, cohesive outdoor entertaining space designed to reflect our client’s lifestyle while providing for functionality, seating, an uninterrupted transition from kitchen to patio, and luscious plantings surrounding the outdoor entertaining area! Our client will now enjoy entertaining family and friends in this beautiful space that Quiet Village Landscaping is proud to provide, meeting our client’s needs for a modern space while adding beauty and function to their home!
