Whether you live in Alum Rock, Cupertino or beyond, our team was charged with taking the typical backyard and changing it to a seamless outlook haven. Having struggled to find an ideal site for the , the team presented a beautifully detailed plan integrating drought-tolerant native California species. We employed varieties that are resistant to drought, including California poppies, manzanita, and lavender, for an interesting palette that is CIS locally pollinator friendly and low water usage. The natural stone walking paths and decomposed granite were aesthetically pleasing while helping to control erosion. The slope of the yard was one of the big challenges we faced in this because we need to hinder the overflow and make the yard accessible, which demands innovative terracing solutions. Our trained team constructed flower beds in a terraced manner, included native stone for retaining walls, which solved drainage issues while offering an attractive addition to the landscape. And what started to shape up as the perfect sunlit oasis blossomed into a stunning outdoor area with a board wilderness that includes calming water features that quench the sun and gurgle a melody, a meditation garden, and solarium plants for added texture and shade. The end result matched exactly what the client had in mind and, in this case, exceeded their dreams the design was both highly functional and stunningly beautiful.
