The Forensics Science Center, a pioneering facility designed by Croxton Collaborative Architects in collaboration with Cecil Baker & Associates, stands as a testament to innovative design and sustainable construction practices. Located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, this state-of-the-art forensics laboratory serves the Philadelphia Police Department, managing all crime scene evidence with the exception of homicide cases. The project, initiated in 2006, transformed an abandoned 1929 school building into a cutting-edge workspace that prioritizes environmental sustainability while accommodating the complex needs of forensic science.
