Arizona Backyard Makeover - Gilbert - Pace At Dream Retreats Landscape, we love to take outdoor spaces and turn them into beautiful retreats, and the Arizona Backyard Makeover in Gilbert was no exception. This ambitious was primed to transform an old backyard into a relaxing oasis for the client's lifestyle. The design included a blend of native Arizona plants like desert wildflowers and succulents which would be resilient to drought and sustainability while being attractive to the landscape. Top-of-the-line materials were utilized including natural stone pavers for the pathway to the custom built fire pit that created a gathering point for family and friends under the stars. One of the challenges we faced was the uneven landscape that drained poorly and had the potential for ponding in certain locations. Our skilled landscapers understood how to take the existing terrain and grade it while also putting in a modern drainage system to resolve the problem without impact to the surrounding ecology. The finished product turned out spectacular! The backyard now has a large space for their patio used for gatherings, a beautiful garden attracting the local wildlife, and a relaxing water feature creating the sound of flowing water in the background. Our attention to detail and quality workmanship transformed the backyard into a private retreat for the Pace family to enjoy!
