Originally, the project aimed to fully renovate an existing two-story historic structure, which had suffered extensive damage from a tornado. However, recognizing the potential of the property, A3G made a bold decision to design a new home that preserved the essence of the original farmhouse while enhancing its functionality and sustainability. The newly constructed one-story farmhouse showcases the use of structurally insulated panels (SIPs), which provide a highly energy-efficient building envelope.
