Dreamy Backyard, by Alex and Sons Landscaping Located in the center of Thornton, the "Dreamy Backyard" encapsulates the artistic abilities and craftsmanship of Alex and Sons Landscaping. We were given the task of converting an average suburban yard into an away-from-home retreat. There were a number of challenges we faced including uneven ground and very little sun exposure. Our talented professionals met that challenge with premium materials, including natural stone pavers, sustainable mulch, and many drought-resistant plants to create a landscape that is both beautiful and sustainable. The included a beautiful multi-tiered garden that flows, filled with colorful perennials and buttery herbs, inviting local pollinators in. The custom-built cedar pergola offers shade while adding character to the garden, creating a perfect space for gathering with family and friends. We also installed a beautiful water feature to provide a subtle and relaxing water sound that enhances the lush garden. Each detail was thoughtfully planned and executed with no detail left unattended, from the hand-selected boulders used to edge the garden to careful placement of lighting to illuminate the space upon darkness. Everything came together to create a tranquil outdoor space that is both aesthetically pleasing and allows for the relaxation of outdoor living. The client was excited their new outdoor living space and stated that the overall was functional and beautiful!
