Pool and Barn Style Pool House by Redbud Development Situated in Gansevoort, Redbud Development completed the 'Pool and Barn Style Pool House' that portrays a nostalgic blend of rustic charm with modern function. This one-of-a-kind landscaping transformed the client's backyard into a cozy escape perfect for relaxation and entertaining purposes. The focal point of the is a barn-style pool house, constructed from reclaimed wood sourced locally which mimics the traditional barn-style architecture, similar to structures in the area. The pool house was accompanied by a spacious, custom inground pool surrounded by natural stone pavers, carefully laid and worked into the existing landscape. Our key challenge was to integrate the operation of the pool house into the existing topography, all while developing sufficient drainage to eliminate pooling water around the structure. After completing the extensive grading plan, and developing specific polish drainage systems within the area, we achieved complete success, resulting in a flawless presentation to the clients. The landscaping offers lush gardens filled with native plants, creating an inviting, radiant garden setting while requesting minimal maintenance from the clients. We choose a variety of perennials and ornamental grasses for sustainability and year-round interest. Additionally, we added a homey fire pit, vague enough to allow the clients to pull up large natural boulders, providing the perfect setting to Summertime evenings around the pool. The extended selection of lighting was added to create an inviting subdued atmosphere, allowing the pool house and gardens to shine bright in the summer evenings. Throughout the design and build of the , we consistently challenged ourselves to deliver quality craftsmanship, achieving goals - the final presentation is a high-quality outdoor living area which exceeds client expectancy. In summary, we are happy to produce a stunning oasis of land and design, offering function to the rural countryside view, and aesthetic appeal - a true representation of Redbud Development's work and commitment to excellence in landscaping.
