Parchman Patio Cover The Rockwall, TX 'Parchman Patio Cover' a new outdoor by Graves Landscape & Outdoor Living. This awe-inspiring patio cover was created to be an extension of the living space outdoors and to protect from the blazing Texas sun allowing the home owners to use their back yard many months of the year. In this , a wooden, custom made pergola, constructed out of naturally decay resistant, high quality, cedar. Not only does this elevate the beauty of the home, but also makes it weather resistant and lasts for decades, which does well in Texas. The structure was intended to combine open and shade spaces for activities from family functions to reading a book in the afternoon. The biggest issue we ran into while working on the was the slope of the backyard. The experienced crew graded the area and poured a strong concrete slab, providing a secure base for the patio cover. We also added LED lighting fixtures to the fixtures to supply ambient light, drawing attention to the pergola's architecture while enabling evening use. Natural surrounding landscaping with native Texas plants that belong in the area and require little maintenance were used surrounding the patio cover. Accents of ornamental stones trailing to the patio and linking it with more of the yard. Our end product is a stunning outdoor retreat that surpasses our clients expectations. The Parchman Patio Cover is the centerpiece of the couple's backyard and the homeowners agree they have found the perfect place to meet style, function, and sustainability.
