INDUSTRIAL CUTTING EDGES Completed by Elite Landscape & Outdoor Living 'Tucked within the Denver core, the INDUSTRIAL CUTTING EDGES was truly unique, and demonstrated the innovative approach of Elite Landscape & Outdoor Living. Serving a varied client base, from Aurora to Bow Mar, Castle Rock and beyond, our firm gladly accepted the task of redesigning a large commercial outdoor . The was met with a fresh, modern style with industrial design features that complemented the architecture surrounding it. We used corten steel edging, polished concrete paths, native plantings, along with proposed seating systems, which added both aesthetics and sustainability. We also included three granite boulders and additional gravel beds around some plantings for sight lines, as well as proper water management. One of the significant challenges was that the entire site had severe elevation changes and uneven terrain, so it needed quite a bit of grading and leveling of soil. Our landscape architects partnered closely with engineers in order to provide an innovative design solution that balanced form and function in an elegant way. As a result, hardscape and softscape blended beautifully, creating defined spaces. The end product yielded a landscape beyond our clients' expectations, as the greenery thrived in the Colorado climate, along with modern seating areas to encourage outdoor interaction. The became a well-known destination among the locals, and continues to demonstrate the workmanship of Elite Landscape & Outdoor Living.
