This property sits in a beautiful neighborhood and turns an ordinary yard into a beautiful outdoor living environment. Our team planned and designed a full landscape plan with equal consideration for functionality and aesthetics. Key aspects of the included creating a custom stone patio with locally-harvested bluestone that complemented the naturally wooded area. The space is now perfect for outdoor entertaining while creating curb appeal for the home. In addition, we included several drought-resistant and native plants surrounding the patio to reduce water usage for biodiversity in the area. One challenge was the sloping property and drainage issues throughout the area. Our team was able to grade the property and install an innovative draining system to redirect water from the home’s foundation; ensuring the safety and longevity of the landscape. In addition, we incorporated boulders and a meandering decomposed granite pathway through lush garden beds bursting with flowering plants to provide depth and texture. To round out the , we included a water feature. It provides a visual focal point while offering the soothing sounds of flowing water. The homeowners were absolutely thrilled with the end result. They have a beautiful backyard that fulfills their aesthetic wants and needs while aligning with their sustainable living goals.
