Garden Sense Inc. is pleased to announce the recently completed 'Sunnyvale Landscaping', a remarkable landscape design solution intended to elevate outdoor living in Sunnyvale, CA. Serving the beautiful communities of Burlingame, Los Altos, Menlo Park, Newark, Palo Alto, Redwood City, San Carlos, San Mateo, and West Menlo Park, our team set out to produce a landscape that was both attractive and functional. This included various features, including a custom stone patio built using locally sourced bluestone for a durable and attractive space for entertaining. Native drought resistant plants were utilized, which allows for an environmentally friendly option while still boasting colorful species and textures throughout the year. A curved pathway was provided to connect the backyard to the home, giving the appearance of looking into the landscape while surrounded by softscape features like ornamental grasses and flowering shrubs. One of the many design difficulties addressed the slope of the property, which provided challenges accomplishing proper grading and drainage. In order to solve the issue on the slope to obtain drainage in an effective manner, it took planning and coordination from our team carrying construction with premium quality materials such as permeable pavers to allow for water runoff. The final landscape turned out to be stunning. The mix of nature and contemporary design was seamlessly weaved into the space to provide entertaining space for family gatherings on one side while having an area for relaxing alone or discussing with friends.
