Brentwood Pool #1 by JSLA At JSLA, we specialize in bringing substantial character outdoors and our recent , Brentwood Pool #1, is no exception. Located in the heart of Brentwood, TN, this was a partnership to create a welcoming retreat that displayed both our commitment to quality, and our inventive thinking. This showcased an open pool space with flourishing well-planned gardens. The gardens featured native plants of all sorts, including various different perennials and shrubs that are hardy, low maintenance, and enable the local ecosystem to thrive. The pool deck was constructed of spectacular natural stone and was chosen for both durability and aesthetics. The warm shades of stone contrasted the cool blue color of the pool to create a calming and serene ambiance. This presented with challenges due to the steep slope of the property. JSLA's team was adaptive in creating layers of landscaping, creating a fantastic pool background while providing improved drainage and accessibility to the lower portions of the yard. Locally sourced materials were used to construct beautiful, enlarged retaining walls resolved concerns of durability and provided a natural feel to the surrounding landscape. To complete the overall experience for this client, we implemented ambient lighting dispersed throughout the landscaping to allow evening enjoyment, generating a phenomenal experience in the area, and transforming the pool space into an evening oasis. In the end, the produced a captivating outdoor room for the client, both usable and healthy in terms of aesthetics and design.
