Edgehill Update | Nashville, TN This recent by Gardens of Babylon Landscapes in Nashville, TN, showcases our constant dedication to excellence and innovative and unique design. With s based in a wide area stretching from Antioch to Green Hills, we made this urban garden into an inspiring outdoor space that connected and enhanced the beauty of Nashville. The included a complete redesign of the front and back yards, using native plants, robust hardscape materials, and outdoor living areas. We chose drought-tolerant plants, such as coneflowers, black-eyed Susans, and ornamental grasses, to provide seasonal color while creating a more sustainable landscape. We used local stone for the paths and retaining walls to complement the aesthetics and create a feel of being outdoors. One of the primary challenges of this was the terrain of the site. It was uneven and required extensive grading and a drainage system to relieve pools of standing water. Our skilled team professionally engineered and constructed an overall drainage system to direct rainwater away from the home and maximize the longevity of the landscape and the property. We also constructed a custom fire pit area with seating for entertaining guests to enjoy the Nashville evenings. Overall, the completed is harmonious and functional while achieving the client's vision. Our unwavering commitment and attention to detail delighted the client and the client couldn't express enough how pleased they were with their unique oasis.
