The Cambridge at Geist project is a stunning example of custom home design that harmonizes modern minimalism with warm, inviting spaces. Located on the picturesque Geist Reservoir in Fishers, IN, this expansive residence was crafted for clients who previously collaborated with us on their former home, making this project a continuation of a trusted partnership. The primary design objective was to create a visually striking yet understated aesthetic, allowing the natural beauty of the surroundings to take center stage. Each room was designed with a focus on spaciousness and light, featuring large, open layouts that encourage a seamless flow throughout the home. The living area boasts exquisite custom built-ins and a grand stone fireplace, which serve as focal points while maintaining the desired minimalist look. Careful attention was given to furniture placement, ensuring that each piece complements the architecture and enhances the overall ambiance. The result is a living room that is not only elegant but also functional, perfect for both entertaining and daily living. In addition to the living room, we enhanced the master bedroom and main entertaining spaces with additional drapery that softens the interiors without obstructing the breathtaking lake views. The chosen materials—high-quality fabrics, warm woods, and polished stone—contribute to the overall inviting atmosphere, while the color palette remains neutral and soothing, allowing for a tranquil retreat. Throughout the project, our collaboration with a talented designer proved invaluable. From reviewing architectural drawings with builders to selecting finishes like tile, flooring, and lighting, we ensured that every detail aligned with the client’s vision. Our role extended to assisting with paint colors and furniture placement, making the overwhelming process of home building or remodeling more manageable and enjoyable for the clients. The final outcome is a sophisticated residence that perfectly balances minimalism with warmth, truly embodying the essence of modern living at Cambridge at Geist.
