About This Project

The Siesta Key FL Condo project involved a comprehensive transformation of a small, outdated one-bedroom unit into a modern, open, and functional living space. The client, hailing from Indianapolis, envisioned a retreat in the idyllic location of Siesta Key, which necessitated a complete gut renovation to realize its full potential. The design process began with a strategic reconfiguration of the existing layout. The original oversized bedroom was reimagined by constructing new walls and adding sliding doors, effectively creating a versatile space that could serve as a master bedroom complete with a cozy sitting area or, when needed, a compact guest room. To enhance functionality, built-in cabinetry was integrated along one wall, significantly improving closet storage without sacrificing style or space. The addition of a second door connecting the bedroom suite to the living area further optimized the flow of the condo, making it more adaptable for entertaining guests or enjoying quiet moments with picturesque views. One of the most impactful design choices was the removal of a wall that previously divided the kitchen from the living area. This pivotal change opened up the entire space, allowing natural light to flood in through the two expansive glass walls. The result is a bright and inviting atmosphere that complements the coastal charm of Siesta Key. Throughout the renovation, high-quality materials and expert craftsmanship were prioritized to ensure a durable and aesthetically pleasing finish. The choice of vibrant colors and modern fixtures adds an element of fun while maintaining a sophisticated coastal design.
