Based in the Greater Boston area, we were challenged to convert a small backyard into a phenomenal outdoor space that catered to the clients needs. The included a beautiful but carefully selected palette of native plants, specifically chosen for their hardiness and attractiveness to provide color throughout the year. Bluestone pathways designed by our team wrap through the garden, connecting different spaces while harmoniously blending into the natural landscape. Providing a shaded escape inviting family gatherings and peaceful moments, the custom-built cedar pergola is made from sustainably sourced wood, protecting the wellness of the environment. We faced a few issues the undulation of the ground was a big problem as well, we couldn't drain well. Our experienced landscapers employed a total grading solution giving water the release it needs, while improving the aesthetics and design of the area. Not only did this serve to create a more usable space, it also acted to combat erosion and protect the surrounding environment. The outcome is a balance of sights and sounds as, amid a riot of flowers and foliage, there are also benches, and tables where, we are told, children can hang out with adults. To see the expression on our client's face when he saw the newly transformed space that provided the perfect backdrop for entertaining and outdoor living made it all worthwhile.
