Small Cottage Garden Pacific Outdoor Living is excited to share the 'Small Cottage Garden' , a wonderful conversion in a quiet neighborhood. This landscaping was created as a cozy retreat that would harmonize with the rustic style of the area. Our staff took great care in mixing a multitude of colorful perennials, fragrant herbs, and beautiful greens to create year-round interest and a habitat for pollinators. The featured handmade stone pathways that wind through the garden with a lovely seating area surrounded by rustic wood benches. Local flagstone and reclaimed wood were used in keeping with the cottage style while creating a high level of usability and durability. Water features, however small, create a soft sound and a sense of relaxation in gardens. During the , our staff was challenged with an irregular site and limited sunlight in some locations. With thoughtful amendments to the soil and botanical selections, we completed the with successful plants in all conditions. The result is an old-world charm garden that provides balance with function, creating an oasis for the homeowners from the stressors of daily life. The clients expressed joy in the final product, especially as the garden became a festive gathering hub for their family and friends.
