Twilight Retreat

Sunset Haven is an extensive interior design project that transformed a newly purchased home into a personalized sanctuary. The journey began shortly after the clients moved in, during which we provided strategic paint color recommendations to refresh the spaces while allowing time for more detailed remodels. The first phase centered on the Master Suite, where we converted a hall bath into a modern master bathroom, featuring raised "his and hers" vanities and a spacious walk-in shower adorned with custom finishes that blend aesthetics with functionality. The master bedroom was revitalized with a fresh coat of paint and bespoke window treatments, thoughtfully designed to complement the new bedding. As we progressed to the second phase, we shifted our focus to the basement, transforming it into a multifunctional family area. This dynamic space now includes a stylish bar and game area, an updated bathroom, and a dedicated hobby/craft room, all designed to encourage leisure and creativity. The new layout maximized usability, ensuring the area becomes a hub of family activity. The third and final phase involved significant structural changes to enhance the home’s layout. By removing two walls that separated the kitchen and dining room from the foyer, we created an open-concept space that invites natural light and fosters connectivity. This expansion allowed for a complete kitchen overhaul, where new hardwood flooring was installed, and cabinetry, hardware, countertops, backsplash, and lighting fixtures were meticulously curated to establish a cohesive flow throughout the home. The color palette transitioned seamlessly from the kitchen into the dining room, living room, hallway, and the Jack and Jill bedrooms and bathroom, creating a harmonious aesthetic. To further enhance the overall design, we updated the stairway with new handrails, balusters, and stair treads, while new furniture was ordered and installed throughout these areas. Each phase of the Sunset Haven project was executed with an unwavering attention to detail and a commitment to crafting a space that not only meets the clients' needs but also reflects their personal style, ultimately transforming their house into a true home.
