Residential Landscaping by Birch Hill Landscape & Design, LLC Birch Hill Landscape & Design, LLC has just completed a remarkable residential landscaping converting a suburban property located in Greater Hartford into a beautiful outdoor destination. Birch Hill Landscape & Design, LLC is located in Newington, CT, and we offer our landscaping services to the entire central Connecticut area. We pride ourselves in providing great landscaping workmanship that fulfills our clients' requests. The included a complete reconstruction of the front and back yard area and incorporated beautiful hardscape features such as a natural stone walk, a custom fire pit, and a beautiful patio area to host guests. We used local bluestone to ensure that the product would last and withstand the unpredictable weather conditions in Connecticut while also boosting the 's beauty. The property had to overcome a slight elevation change, which we expertly leveled and graded in order to provide a detailed presentation. We also took the time to incorporate drainage, through the installation of a French drain, to avoid any water runoff excess or excess water saturation issue, so that the aesthetics would not be compromised and any risk of compromising the structural landscape would be negligible. Additionally, we gave great consideration to the usability of the area and chose many native plants and shrubs to bring life, vibrancy, and seasonal interest to the property. We chose the plants in a way that highlighted the architecture of the home while respecting the need for a biodiverse property. The seasonal blooms will add color and texture from spring - winter for the owners to enjoy for many years. In the end, we produced a beautiful space that is highly functional as well. The clients were over-the-top excited how it turned out and complimented our incorporation of the hardscape and soft-scape element we created from the designed plan.
