About This Project

The Joseph Dr. remodel project involved a comprehensive transformation of the downstairs living spaces, including the living room, kitchen, powder bath, meditation room, breakfast nook, entryway, and home office. Located in the picturesque Lakeway, TX, this renovation commenced in 2024 and aimed to shift the aesthetic from a dated Tuscan style, characterized by heavy stone and faux painted gold walls, to a bright, modern home infused with bold pops of col. Our design approach incorporated an open and airy layout, making the most of natural light to create inviting spaces. The former dining room was repurposed into a serene meditation room, providing a tranquil escape for the homeowner. In the powder bath, we introduced a stylish new vanity paired with elegant wallpaper, shiplap accenting, and contemporary lighting fixtures, achieving a balance of functionality and visual appeal. The kitchen and breakfast nook were revitalized with modern finishes and a fresh color palette, enhancing the overall aesthetic of the home. The home office received a subtle yet impactful makeover, featuring lighter wall paint to brighten the space and a strategic rearrangement of existing furniture to optimize flow and usability. The removal of cumbersome French doors, replaced by a sleek barn door, not only saved space but also added a rustic charm that complements the modern design elements throughout the home. In the living room, we undertook a complete redesign, focusing on creating a focal point that draws the eye while maintaining an open and welcoming feel. The craftsmanship involved in this remodel reflects the highest standards, ensuring durability and beauty in every detail. The outcome of this project is a harmonious blend of modern design and personal touches, resulting in a vibrant and functional living environment that caters perfectly to the clients' lifestyle.
